the original C+C was the best in my view - maybe it could be that it was one of the first RTS games I played and with it being the first C+C game I played had more of impact on me than the other titles, still recall some of the missions, the music and cut scenes so definitely a memorable game,followed by red alert 2 which had a fun singleplayer too with the cheesy acting and the multiplayer could be ablast especially on LAN, the worse C+C, hmmm the first person shooter 'renegade' I think it was called.
I preferred the original red alert, the music, setting and the cutscenes were pretty awesome. Tib Sun got a lot of flack but it was pretty enjoyable, the new c&cs haven't been very good at all.
Unfortunately I've only played one C&C and that is Generals. The reason I'm posting is because I really really loved that game. So much variety in the fighting and vehicles to make each faction balanced, just by different means. It is tons of fun...and the Nuke...NUKE...
The first C&C Red Alert was my favourite by far. Combine this with the expansions like C&CRA: Counter Strike and you have a winner.. the secret Ant missions were a nice change. A classic RTS game that, to me, is far better than all other C&C games by quite a margin.
