Anyone you find comfortable. Good ones seem to be in the 100-200 range. Plenty of places with good ones.

The Obutto seems preety nice. You can get three monitors on it and has tables for your mouse and keyboard in addition to the wheel. I do not own this, but it is tempting.

I don't think he would be looking for something like that. From what I can tell you pay around $500 for the chair and then you have to buy other parts to support all of that.

TC- There are plenty of great chairs out there, go to Office Depot ,Staples or anywhere that sales them and just test some out.

The Obutto is NOT 500 dollars. Is is about 300 ready to play. Comes with Keyboard tray, Monitor stand (up to 37") and a side bar for a shifter or joystick. I know, I own 2 of them.

The best computer chair:

-Buy a cheap desk chair at the goodwill (with arms, rotatable)

-Buy 3-inch foam padding -Attach foam padding all around the inside of the chair

-Congratulations! You've spent about $20 on the most comfortable chair you've ever had! And, with a couple more bucks, you can staple some fabric over the foam to make it look great.

-ITT: suckers who pay hundreds of dollars for a brand name and/or useless technology which will break in a couple months

This is pretty bad for your back.

I imagine you spend a whole lot of time sitting in front of the computer, so a better idea would be to actually spend some money and get something that is both comfortable and won't damage your lower back. Don't skimp out on stuff like chairs or monitors, they're actually far more important in the long run than getting a faster video card.

That i agree with, i learned that the hard way. A 1080 monitor would be doing me alot more good than a second gtx 460 which cause a whole lot of issues

Find what's comfortable for you. Arms, soft cushion? Adjustable height suits you and your desk? There are many things to consider.. But one thing I absolutely HATE are chairs that slope down, with very little butt room. I'm 6 ft, 170lbs... by no means overweight or anything, fit... and the chair I purchased at the time for nearly $200 has a terrible seating. It's soft enough, but it slops down. The longer you're sitting, the more you're sliding off of the chair. Very uncomfortable and annoying. I would literally sell this thing for $20 in a yard sale if I could, I hate it that much.

Break in a few months? I have had 1 of my Obuttos for over 2 years. I would like to see you break it. Maybe with a sledge hammer you could but thats about it. Don't cop an attitude because some of us can afford to buy nice equipment.

I do apologize about the price. It does seem they have gone up. My first one cost me $250.00 plus shipping. My second one I got free as the company accidently shipped my buddy 2 when he ordered his. He called and emailed them and they knew they had done it and that was last May. A month ago he called me and said "Get it out of my house now!"......LOL.......So now I have 2. If anyone is in the Minneapolis, MNarea and wants to buy a new one for $200.00 bucks let me know. It is even assembled but has not been used.

Just googled it... that's a sick setup.. If it was $250... I would buy one right now... hell if I lived in Minneapolis, i would call you up and snatch it out of your hands for $200. I'm sad now. :(

Ok so I realize this post is pretty dead now, and Obutto has some NICE setups, but I currently run my rig through my 1080p 37" TV using HDMI. The TV is on an entertainment center so I need a stand alone chair that has a setup for my keyboard and mouse. My TV is low enough that a low chair or an adapted console rocker would be preferable to a desk chair. Anyone know of any such hybrid?

I'd go to staples or office depot and test them out. Theres no point buying a chair online and then finding out later its not comfortable. Everyone is different

Whatever does the best job of making your butt feel like a king, if you know what I mean. In my case I have a nice recliner that has spoiled my butt, I can't go back to hard/peasant seats.

I have a recliner too, but it's way too "laid back" for a computer desk. How do you game with a recliner? Believe me I've tried lol.

You get use to it after a while, I had to sacrifice a lot of mouse space and I literally had to increase my mouse sensitivity 300% but during leisure time one must adhere to the motto: comfort above all else.

It's definitely doable if you have a gamepad.

Yeah I can pull up my recliner for some games that play on a gamepad like racing games, sports games, and specific games like Dark Souls, Assassin's Creed would work. But primarily, I use mouse and keyboard for just about every game, even Assassin's Creed which I choose to waive the option to use gamepad.

I even tried to attach a swivel base to my recliner to give it some height and mobility. Installation was a success with my invention but it felt too laid back for me. I just prefer to sit up right unless i'm watching a film.

Take some pictures guys, if you can, because i would like to see how your setups look.
