Ok my friend (rich son of a **** Wants the best computer you can buy. He plans on building it. Only thing is he does not want ATI cards thats all he's concerned about. So He pretty much wants 3 gtx 280's (best nvidia cards on the moment unless a new one came out i'm unaware of...). Thats all I know that he wants. So yea he has really no budget he is trying not to go much past 3k lol. So thanks.

Are you serious?

That crappy Thermaltake liquid-cooling kit isn't worth $50, let alone $225, and going with 4x1GB of RAM is worse than 2x2GB since it's more stressful on the memory controller.

If you're going to go with liquid cooling do it proper, there is no pre-built kit I'd go with over a decent (and much cheaper) air cooler.

Stop reading this forum and go tell your friend he's an idiot for the following reason.

Anybody who needs to ask a question like this shouldn't be building their own PC, period. Anybody who's capable of building a PC would know a hell of a lot more about what they wanted other than "3 gtx 280's".

You should also tell him that since he doesn't know anythng that he shouldn't make a top of the line PC his first attempt at building a PC.

lol k well he's already ordered all his parts he's not worried about it he's read guides i dont' see why it would matter my first time building a computer was in november last year its really not that hard and I dont' see why it would matter if you got a high end gaming pc or a low end gaming pc to build one. But you can think he's an idiot thats fine but thanks for the help of the couple people who actually posted the info topic done.

eh 3k isnt gonna be enough to get the best computer you can buy. Some custom rigs from pc builders such as Digital Storm and Falcon NorthWest can cost $10,000 plus. With the addition of SSD top of the line comp can run you over 6 grand.
