Best Demos to Play over LAN/ Online

Hi. I just configured a Lan connection between two computers, and I'm looking for some games that I can play with my g/f. Before I invest in a game, I'm asking your help (if you dont mind :-p ) for potential demos that support LAN play that my g/f might like. My g/f isn't great at FPS gamesbut any demo that's free is a great start. Also, our graphic cards are not top-of-the-line so I'm trying to start with simpler graphics first to more complex later. Once again, any help, suggestions or ideas would be great. Thanks!

yea....she isnt a gammer now...she wont be ever.....sorry man.....the only game she could probley get into is the sims or rollercoaster tycoon ect. If she doesnt like fps....the easier kind of lan/multiplayer/omnline then she wont like rts she might like rpg...try diablo 2

My girlfriend wasn't a gamer when I met her for the first time, but I managed to educate her. She wanted to know what on earth made me play all these games and rather than to tell her, I let her experience it by herself.
