What were your favirote DOS games back in the day? Being a teen and fairly new to PC games (3 years of PC gaming) I want to play some of the games I missed. Any suggestions?

Civilization
hard to get into it nowadays especially with the new civilization games which have more depth but i still have fun with it
Lands of lore
Fun and nice RPG with a story i liked. i didn't like Lands of lore 2 as much
Eye of the beholder
similar to Lands of lore but a lot less polished, still fun if you like RPG and dungeons and dragons
All the serie is good but the first ones are really poor graphically so i recommand the last one (the third IIRC)
Maniac mansion
great adventure/puzzle game where you play kids trying to save a girl kidnapped in a mansion where strange people live
Day of the tentacle
the sequel to maniac mansion with more things to explore, great too and updated graphics
Doom
old shooter, but still fun
Space quest
great and fun adventure game in the space
The secret of monkey island
same kind of adventure game but with pirates
Another world
Side scrolling action game, kinda fun and the combat system is unique (at least i haven't seen something similar since then)
but graphics are really old
Flashback
Similar to another world but combat changed a little and a lot nicer graphics
Dune 1
Adventure/strategy game where you must conquer a planet to own its ressources
Dune 2
Sequel to dune 1 but pure RTS this time
Little big adventure (not sure if it was still DOS but think so)
really fun adventure game with kinda unique graphics and gameplay
Magic Carpet
it's a very unique game so i like it, but the gameplay can be boring sometimes
it's a mix of strategy, shooter, and RPG games. You play a guy who flys on a carpet and is kinda like a god or very powerfull mage. you can cast spell to build or enhance cities and also cast attack or healing spells to attack ennemy cities or castles
there are a lot more fun games but that's the first ones which came to my mind
Blood
Where in the world is Carmen SanDiego
Descent
Duke3d
Galactix
Golden Axe
Magic Carpet 1,2
Secret of Monkey Island (although they the remake isout15th of July)
Quake
Epic Pinball
Tie Fighter
Wolf 3-D
Simcity 2000
Quite an old one. Nevertheless here is my advice of the best:
2D Platforms: Abuse, Another World, Blackthorne, Dukenukem 1&2, Flashback.
RPG: Albion, Anvil of Doom, Elderscrolls Arena, Jagged Alliance, Syndicate
Sims: Comanche 3, Gunship 2000, Falcon 3 (outdated)
Scrolling Shooters: Raptor Calls of the Shadows, Tyrian 2000, Death Rally (sort of)
Strategy: Dune 2, Enemy Unknown (XCOM1), Terror from the Deep (XCOM2)
FPS: Doom 1&2, Heretic, Hexen, Strife (forgotten diamond. go for it plz), Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage, Quake 1&2, Descent 1&2, Blake Stone 1&2, Blood, Chasm the Rift, Eradicator, Powerslave, Realms of the Haunting (best, biggest, longest and hardest horror fps ever made), Star wars Dark Forces
Dont forget MDK and Crusader series
Cheers!!
back then i was just starting playing what i remember is:
duke 3d
doom 1-2
