Best Ensemble Game - Poll

Age of empires 2 was so damn good.

I did a lan game with some mates before. One of them built a wall maze, so when i went near his base, he locked the gates and i was stuck there:P

Great memories from Age of empires, its a shame Ensemble are gone now. I also hate the fact that people seem to dislike base buliders. I prefer base buliding strategy games.

Easily Age Of Empires II.

That's not to say I disliked their other games, because I enjoyed them a lot. But AoE II stands out.

As much as I loved AoE2, I grew up with heaps of classical mythology books, so I preferred the setting of AoM more.

They're pretty similar, though - AoE2 had more content/depth, while AoM felt more accessible and fun.
