Coolest mods I've ever installed would have to be the Teletubbies mod for L4D and random oblivion mods.

Too many to name for HL1 and HL2. I think they both had/have the strongest modding communities of any game ever.

The Specialist, free mod for HL1 :P So awesome. Throwing Knives!(IW stole from them), akimbos galore, bullet time, and kung fu! Good times.

Also: it came out right after operation iraqi freedom and was completly based on that real life event.

Funny thing was back then i stood on the barricades in Brussels, shouting and burning flags, getting owned by teargass (f*ck that stuff hurts, it should be illegal), then i got home, starting up bf:dc and log in coalition forces :D

Desert Combat was based on the 91 Iraq war, not the new one.

it did? that explains all the iraqi jets and scud-trucks :)
