Best FPS game for PC?

I'm looking for a good FPS game which my computer will handle. Something released at around 2005 should do the trick. Any recommendations?

Try anything based on source engine and any source mods (there are alot)

not from 2005, but AVP2 was great, especially if you like AVP.

Call of duty 2 was also good

hl2 DM has alot of mods for it. BG2 (revolutionary wAr setting) is good.. so is Age of Chivalry, its like a medieval version of css.

other than that i would go for cod2.
