My favorite game ever is "The Secret of Monkey Island"

But there were many other great classic Adventure games such as Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, Space quest, Quest for Glory...I miss the good old days.

Best ever?! That's probably impossible. Either one of these: Half-Life, Fallout 2, or Diablo...I still play these and they are 10 years old.

PC: Fallout

Consoles: Super Mario Bros. 3

Tough one mate... there are games I have skipped work to play in the past, but wouldn't play now. If it came down to hours, and enjoyment I would have to say...

Diablo2 (man, I played freak'n hours of this), on PC. The Need for Speed series on all consoles (think I played the first NFS for 24 hours straight). Guilty pleasure, Star Wars Power Battles on PS1, dont know why, I just kept on playing it forever. Doom3 was wicked, just can't get enough of that shotgun action.

Mine would have to be either Fable or Diablo 2

I still play diablo online to this day.

PC: starcraft

Consoles: metal gear solid

PC: Operation Flashpoint, F.E.A.R., and Oblivion (I can't decide which is best... I loved them all!)

Console: Jungle Strike! \m/

PC: Garrys Mod 10 or WoW

Councle: Rainbow Six Vegas or Cromehounds

Handheld: Metal Gear Solid: Portal Ops

so far Oblivion

BUT I just got Guitar Hero II, and wow am I having fun so It's one of those two

Actually those are only my recent favorites, favorite of all time was Call of Duty 1 (PC)

warcraft 3. I've amassed at least 1000 hours. xifre only detected 800 cause i didnt know about it for a while. This game is sick and i couldnt get enuff of it.

Console: Mine would be Vigilante 8 for the n64. For some reason I could never put down the controller when i first played the game. it was the cool twisted metal.

I sortthe best gamesever in genres, for me there's no thing such as a best game of all other games.

For Action/First Person Shooter: F.E.A.R. (Half-Life comes close but IthinkF.E.A.R is just better.)

For Strategy: Command & Conquer Red Alert

For Role-Playing: The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

For Simulation: The Sims

Console: metal gear solid series

PC: half life series or quake series
