Which game did you think had the best expansion pack, and why?I am not just talking about adding more content, but adding new features and just making the overall gameplay so much better.

Good question.I wanted to create this question myself.but you did it earlier. Best expansion of all time is for the best game of all time in my opinion.and that's age of mythology:titans. Those new titan units that get add to this game are awesome and make the game the most epic game of all time. Of course I love lord of desruction too.Which game did you think had the best expansion pack, and why?I am not just talking about adding more content, but adding new features and just making the overall gameplay so much better.

freakshowfreak
I thought people had finally got over that.
nope the pain is to deep.
I would have thought it was okay if it was an expansion
but a full priced sequal ?
hell no
and be fair it could have been an expansion only problem is the sh*tbox 360 can't handle expansions so we pc gamers get screwd Uber time
and now we have empire with still bugs no promised multiplayer
and this is going the same way the new napoleon will probably get the multiplayer they promised US
BG2:ToB, epic battles and finishing the BG saga.
NWN2:MotB, quest designs, role-playing and narrative are all improved from the original.

I don't get it. Left 4 Dead 2 has everything a sequel has. New enemies, new setting, new weapons, new etc. The only difference is that it's coming sooner than any other Valve sequel.

Phoenix534
same as sims bon voyage new settings weapons and enemies but that's an expansion
no srry a game that uses the same engine that almost hasn't changes visually exept a few ai tweaks and that you van shoot holes in bodies doesn't make it a sequal
the weapons are almost the same exept for the melee weapons
they also use some of the old infected as far as I know.
all the things they add could easily be made into an expansion but just like I said we get screwd because the sh*tbox can't handle it

The Xbox 360 can easliy handle expansions. It has expansions on it.
yeah small map packs and tiny addons ........... it's not capble for a real expansion only when you have the harddisc and not evryone has that so it wouldn't sell enough.

So, you're saying that Shivering Isles isn't a real expansion?

-Half Life 2: Episode one, episode two

They're brilliant, but they're not expansions.
Yeah, agree not really expansions by standard definition, but they do expand the game.
But for whatever they are, post game content, they are the best i can think of, so deserve some props.
Tribunal and Bloodmoon for Morrowind - because they added to the core game.
Call Of Duty: United Offensive - because it brought new dynamics to the multiplayer part of the game.
Half-Life: Opposing Force, and Half-Life Blue Shift which introduced the high-def character pack to the core game.
Shadows Of Undrentide and Hordes Of The Underdark for Neverwinter Nights.
Legends Of Aranna for Dungeon Siege, which added a large new area to explore, and made some improvements to the core game as well.
Mysteries Of The Sith for Jedi Knight, which was almost the same size as the original game and made improvements to multiplayer.
