Yes.
30 is way more though and harder to find.
Most likely gloss which is better than matte anyway for picture quality without the annoying ag coat.

What do you mean? Â Glossy is nearly impossible to use in well lit environments, which is why I prefer matte.
Better picture quality? AG matte makes everything a bit grainy. Just pretend is a crt monitor where you had le glare. It may technically be more distracting, but in reality is less and if the environment is so bright you cannot use it than I don't think the matte screen is very useable either with light glaring in.

My eyes are sensitive to light, so there is no getting around the glare on a glossy screen for me, all I can see is whatever is being reflected, on matte, that problem litterally does not exist.
what do you think about this one? I saw very good reviews...

With you on this one. I do notice the grainy look a bit, but I'll take that over being able to see what's behind me better than the game.[QUOTE="GummiRaccoon"]

In movie viewing purposes, you could get away with a glossy finish, but that still forces you to change positions to get a specific viewing angle around the glare. I like my window blinds open the day so that's a no-no hehe.[QUOTE="Bikouchu35"]

A renovated basement, gaming environment with a few small windows would be ideal for keeping sound in for those that like to blast music, sound. yes there are

The weather is good so is rare. Heh.
Diz is why I prefer gloss. I don't think is hard to tell apart which is glossy, semi, or matte is self explanatory. PQ is more vibrant, though I can understand a number of reason or preference against it.
[QUOTE="MotherRussia"]i bought the Crossover 27Q...anyone knows if I can connect it to the PS· or Xbox360?mitu123Does it have HDMI inputs? nope, only dual dvi... but I have an adaptor from the play HDmi to dual dvi...

Try it out though I heard it may not work with that monitor.
There are no plasma monitors or screens less than 40"...ips suck for gaming they lag to much. save up and get a plasma they are 1000 times faster.

i bought the Crossover 27Q...anyone knows if I can connect it to the PS· or Xbox360?MotherRussiaIt would work with the adaptor but it would probably look pretty bad since console games are mostly 720p and below and that monitor is 4x the resolution. Monitors don't have the same upscaling as TVs do so you'd basically just be stretching the screen a lot and making it blurry. It would be best used with a PC

It would be best used with a PC Actually 720p would look good because it's a 4:1 ratio, it will just have 4 pixels for each 1 in the 720p so it should look better than 720p on a 1080p panel.

40" is a stupid size for a monitor... I agree. 42" should be where anyone would start in the "larger" TV size. An even more stupid TV size is 37". In general, they have sickening input lag. Dispose of it.i have search countless hours for a good 27' ips gaming monitor and a plasma TV seems to be the only valid option.
