I am buying an ASUS G60VX laptop and i need a really good mouse to go with it. It will be sitting on my desk most of the time, so it doesnt have to be the smallest mouse. I have found about 5 options, so if you have experience with one of them, help would be appreciated.

1. Razer Imperator

2. Razer Orochi

3. Logitech MX518

2. Logitech G9

1. Logitech G5

so if you know anything about these mice, I would appreciate it!

G500 is the newer version of MX518, which is also better. I like logitech better than Razer, but its really down to personal preferences.

I use the world of warcraft gaming mouse, even though I don't play WoW... I got it on sale at best buy for 60 dollars a few weeks ago. It's got like 10 or so buttons on it you can macro anything, best gaming mouse I've had for the price, and it has a nifty glow effect.

Best Buy has the G9 on sale for $35.

I wouldn't pass this deal up. It's normally between $80 and $100.

Meh, I dont like g9 personally owning one, but since you put all those up for choice go for orochi wireless betta for lappies. Or just get g5/mx mouse for cheap.

The G5 is a great mouse which you can pick up for about £30 (approx $50). I've had mine for about 3 years now. Very responsive and robust. I particularly like the weight cartridge feature - Allows you to adjust the weight of the mouse fit your liking!

I've used the Imperator and it's very good, also the G9X is a good mouse.

It's all about your grip, tell us if it's claw, palm or fingertip and we might recommend you some.

I have a wireless logitech g700, very smooth movement with tons of buttons. Battery life is short but it uses AA so its very quick to swap out newly charged ones in. No doubt best mouse i've owned before, i liked it so much i bought two of them incase they stopped making the model.

I think they stopped making the one i have actually and now make the g700s, which is the same but cosmetically different in appearance only.
