I love having programmable buttons for macros ect., but I think some of the MMO mice I've seen with rows of 20 buttons on them are a bit much. What mouse and keyboard combos do you guys recommend for someone who likes customizing their controls?

I use the Logitech G500 Mouse, and the Microsoft Sidewinder x4 Keyboard. Great combo, does everything I need. Both have some extra programmable buttons, but not an overwhelming amount.

You can wait for a deal on either of these, or even get them now, they're very nice and a decent price.

I actually have a Nostromo Keypad from many years ago (Half Life 2 launch). It was great, but by modern standards is outdated software-wise. Glad to see they are still around. And I appreciate everyone's suggestions... I will have a look.

I had G500 before and it is a nice mouse. Now I switch to Madcatz Cyborg RAT 7, but it is expensive.
