Rivatuner is very good. But Ntune works as well if you just want to do simple Core and memory OC. rivatuner lets you do shader clocks and the sorts. and set profiles that load when u turn windows on.

I like ntune (good for overclocking anything), but rivatuner is also very good. If you're looking to overclock your CPU then visit overclock.net for some guides on how to do it through the BIOS.

ATiTool is my favorite. The stress test is particularly nice to have.

Rivatuner is okay, I only use it to adjust my fan settings.

I don't like nTune for overclocking at all.

Rivatuner or ATITool. ATITool is probably the more effective of the two at fine tuning your overclocking, as you can quickly run tests for stability, detecting artifacts as you steadily increase the clock speed(s) of your video card. And yes, it's also compatible with nVidia cards. It displays a temperature monitor (numerically for the current temps, and a graph for temperature history) during the 3D Rendering test. Additionally, ATITool is a bit more intuitive to use than Rivatuner, though that's probably not a big issue for many.

Rivatuner and ATItool are both great. Ntune fails, and its friggin 40mb while rivatuner is 2mb. What's that about?

Useful app when OC GPU is Gpu-z, it cant overclock but tells you all there is about your gpu and vram OC, bandwidth, Vram latency and more... perfect complements to both ATI Tool and Riva Tuner.

Rivatuner for overclocking, atitools for artifacts and temps. I wouldn't use the 'Find Max' buttons with atitools, read bad things about using that.

However ntune can screw with your BIOS and cause some serious problems

I use rivatuner myself.
