Alright so i need a headset and i'm looking for a high quality one. I've heard good things from the Razer Carcharias and the Steelseries Siberia V2. I'm not sure if these are anywhere near the best, but i'm looking for the best quality headphones for around 70-80$. I'm a gamer ( mostly fps) and i love to listen to music. I listen to almost everything. But i mainly listen to rap, techno and hip hop so something heavy in bass would be very nice.

Audio Technica AD700s have excellent sound quality and soundstage( ala awesome for direction in gaming). They don't have a mic, but they sound a lot better than gaming headsets.

I really don't mean to persist, but it's saving you money and sound quality just by buying the mic separately

DivergeUnify is right. I've never heard a good sounding gaming headset before. High quality headphones is what you want.
