lotro us is 10$us/month, I dunno if it's the same for Euro. Might want to check that one. The game is like 10$us and include a free month+the amount of the trial you have left

Eve online. you litteraly dont level up in the game instead it happens in real time even while your offline. Que up some skills and play when you want to make money.

Have you played it?

Is it better than a leveling up system?

I played it. It's rather complex and I think since your gonna be 11, you won't understand it.

runescape is very good and free and it's not very addictive unless like 20 of your friends are playing it and addicted to it aswell

i'd suggest guild wars, its free to play minus buying the campains, but the trilogy is just 50 bucks and you get 3 games. eye of the north is an expansion but its not super nessesary and if you want it its only 20 bucks. also there is no grinding, you can get to the max level in about 8 hours if you know what you are doing, but the gameplay really gets good after the max level (level 20) also great community and the players usually know what they are doing and are helpful.

An MMO that doesn't have the potential to take over your life doesn't exist, unless it's a bad MMO. They're designed to take hours and hours upon more hours to 'complete'.

There's alot of good MMOs out there, if you're looking for a new one to play...go with Aion. By far the best MMO I've played to date, and that's just from playing up to level 20.

EVE online tends to be very tedious, and very overwhelming at first...If you can get into it, by all means play it. It's a great game, whether you turn more towards the economic side, or the more pirating side of the game.
