I decided on getting the 940 with the help of some people here on the board. I am now trying to decide on the right mobo that supports the AM2+ socket. I can only spend $100 (give or take). Also, I don't need crossfire (just need 1 PCIE 2.0) and am only using ddr2 800 or 1066 mhz ram (prefer 16gb memory max). I prefer ATX size. I don't mind what brand it is as long as it has good reviews. I prersonally have a gigabyte for my q6600 brand and love it.

I gratly appreciate everyones help.

Thanks

your choices are very limited with that budget, and your preferences arent likely possible under $100. i suggest my current board $74 and it runs phenom 2 940 im using one right now actually
