After some research i came to the conclusion that the Asus P6T Deluxe V2 was the right one, but now i m having second thoughts.

I ll be having the i7 920, plus 6 gb ram 1600 that should be here any moment now, and will use it mainly for gaming.

So please help me out thanks!

I'm also going to build an i7, right now I'm looking at the DFI LP UT-T3eH8 for the mobo (I heard you can oc really high with this), and right now you can get it for a decent deal on Newegg.

Well, the Asus is an excellent motherboard. As for a modular psu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139002 It has plenty of power...unless you just want an 850w psu. If, so I would check-out a PC Power & Cooling psu. Cheers

This One. Having used an Asus P5K deluxe, a Gigabyte ep35c, then a Gigabyte ep45c, the EVGA board I have now is by far the best mobo I have ever owned. The only complaint I have is that it takes longer to go from bios to boot than the other aforementioned boards.

Way over-priced... Get the Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P, it's the cheapest but it does the job...or the Asus P6T (non deluxe is fine) PSU: Seasonic, Corsair, Antec are all great brands!

I picked up the i7 920, Same asus mobo you got, 12gb of gskill, a cooler master HAF case and cooler master 700w PS, and a nvidia gtx 260. So far the only thing I've made it choke on was the Cryostasis demo, but that was because I hadn't installed the latest PhysX driver. It's running quite happily so far [knocking on wood], and even vista 64bit isn't so awful.
