best multiplayer futururistic/sci-fi shooter??

hey im trying to get a new mutliplayer futuristic/sci-fi shooter

so far ive seen Unreal Tournament 2004 and Deus Ex

i dont think my computer could run Crysis, well at least,

2.8ghz, GeForce 9400 GT, and 1gb RAM (i could easily upgrade)

your actually not too far off, if thats not a no name brand 9400 your probably okay to run it. umm half life is a must (half life 2 is strictly optional), u might like painkiller but thats more of a horror game than sci-fi, umm portal is good, bioshock, mass effect, battlefield 2142 is a bit iffy (if you dont like it your going to absolutely hate it), also doom 3 though a horror shooter also has great sci-fi elements to it as it happens on a human colony on mars.aura_enchanted

it has online multiplayer (arena style multiplayer at that) but its not a very large community. yeah your card is good to go and the rest looks able enough to handle mid level quality on crysis. the reason why i asked is because i know there are no name crad manufacturers for both ati and nividia and tend to be sub par to there mainstream counterparts (not all but most are).aura_enchanted

Battlefield 2142 all the way.

In my mind, still one of the most polished online shooters. The game play is extremely balanced, in that nothing is overpowered, or can dominate the game. No weapon or vehicle owns (but in the hands of a skilled player, well that's another story...).

Learning the game mechanics is fairy straightforward, but after several years, I'm still learning new strategies... I've really got my moneys worth with this game.
