Reminds me, in a way, of Crusader: No Regret and Crusader: No Remorse, but both of these areolder classics. Zombie Shooter is a bit more contemporary and has both a similar perspective and is steamable. I have been considering dropping my $5 for the two games.... probably will.
EDIT: Bah, I went ahead and bought 'em. I cannot resist steam deals.

call me crazy, but I really enjoyed Space Siege
Silent Storm is good too (it is turn-based, though), as are the Commando games.
I think Syndicate will go down as my favorite, though
If you call him crazy go ahead and add me to the list. I also enjoyed it.call me crazy, but I really enjoyed Space Siegemrbojangles25
I loved those games. The flesh-eating gun will always have a special place in my heart. I bought Zombie Shooter and Alien Shooter a while ago.. Zombie Shooter was great fun.. I've blasted through it a couple times, but I think Alien Shooter was bugged. I ended up not playing it for some reason, anyway. I also bought Shadowgrounds before without checking the "co-op".. which is local co-op. Not even LAN. That was a bit of a disappointment, so I never ended up playing it.Reminds me, in a way, of Crusader: No Regret and Crusader: No Remorse, but both of these areolder classics. I _always_ intended to get that one and just never managed to make it happen which I do regret. There was rumors of remake at one time, too.

lol sharing a keyboard is fail just plug in a gamepad and someone uses the mouse and keyboard.and the best overhead shooter would be the alien shooter love that game alot of fun to be had there just blasting away at wave after waves of aliens and getting better and more powerful weapons as you progress it also has some nice level design and you do progress through levels in both games.
you can buy the game download off amazon.com for $5
alien shooter download
theres also the sequel alien shooter vengeance with lots of added features and much better graphics
