probably the 360 one.-AK47-If you had to use a controller, that would probably be the right one for the job.
Thanks guys for the help. I have been looking at the 360 controller, just wanted to make sure that there wasn't one that was better or something else. Also, thanks for the consideration, I thought I was going to get flamed horrendously :DStrifeDeliveryShut up noob!!!!
Nah, I'm just kidding.
Well, I might as well echo, get the 360 controller.
Not only is it a well designed pad, but I think many games that are going to be on a console and PC will support this pad. Like in RB6:V, it ONLY supports this pad and no other.
Get the logitech rumble2, it's the best and is same like ps2 controller. I like that one better because i'm not used to xbox pad. It has weird located thumbsticks. Logitech is the best company that makes controllers, mice, keyboard. I always buy logitech products. GO Logitech!!! They have a air mouse coming soon, it will be same like wii controller. We will play games on pc like wii. It will totally awesome. PC gaming will change because of that. I was gettin bored of pc but new change coming with this air mouse. Wait, do not get a pad, get that>>>>>>>>>>>-----{-}-] mert15_2004I hope you know you sound like a comercial.
yep i agree the 360 one is good, but then logitech make some good controllers as well. My mouse , keyboard and steering wheel are all logitech and they work well and are great, but i still use a 360 controller for some racing games like trackmania united.
One thing though i would get a good mouse and just try to get used to it when playing a fps. it will be hard initially but once you get used to it, you'll probably never touch a controller again for a FPS
I should also mention that you'll need the wired 360 controller or the wireless one bundled with the reciever thingie. If you have to buy the reciever alone it's like an extra $20.
Also if I read your post right you want this for RTS games??? I should note that most RTS games don't support controllers besides those w/ the games for windows logo on them (and I'm not sure how well those are w/ controller support).
For shooters I prefer a keyboard substitute such as the ****** Nostromo (for Win XP) or the Ideazon Fang (for Vista). You can program the keyboard layout to your taste, you don't have to deal with all the extra keys on the normal keyboard, and you get to use the mouse with it.
HAND??? There are no better controllers than that part of our body.
lol, anyway.....get a 360 for now....BUT I INSIST YOU PLAY GAMES WITH KB/MOUSE....sure gonna take some time...but after you adopt that, you'll throw away your 360 controller when your playing FPS and RTS or any game that uses a mouse.

Nooo, I use kb/m for things such as RTS, but I haven't played many FPS, so I am not very skilled using the kb/m for those types of games.
