Yeah, the only one coming out that I know of is the new EA Masters something or another. All it is though is tiger woods golf minus tiger. Links was the best. It's dated now but if you look it up online you will find there still are quite a few diehards playing it. I believe that last PC version was back in 06' or 08'. I maybe way off though, it's been awhile.

Appears I found the best swing game for PC, its Hank Haneys World Golf.

Not as showy and less bells and whistles than TW2008 but it has outstanding control. Even lets you pick if you want to swing horizontal or vertical. Or you can do the lame click click click style too. Comes with a complete level editor so you can make any course you want and comes with 22 18hole courses, that's alot of gameplay.

Just thought I'd share. For $10 can't really go wrong.

Though I have not played it the reviews are really bad. So beware.

Links LS is the best golf game ever. I'm hoping GOG's will pick this up one of these days.

The reviews suck. I bought and have played the game for a good 2 hours now. Links is great but I feel Hank is the next best thing for a pure golf sim in true 3D.

I have it for the PC. The game is old as can be. The only real problem with the game is you can't pinpoint your aim. Trying to draw and fades is pretty hard to control. It's more of an arcade gold game then a sim. The BEST golf game is Links 2003 on the PC. It was the last golf game that Access Software. It still a great game, but the graphics are dated. Control is excellent as long as you don't mind the 2-click and 3-click controls. I don't remember if it has Mouse Swing control. I never use that. You can go to Links Country Club to get the game and all the courses. Courses are $2.99 each. They do have a few free courses. http://www.linkscountryclub.com/ The game will run on XP, but you may need new drivers to run it on Windows 7 or 8. I believe it won't run on nVidia cards for Win7 or 8. I still play it on XP from time to time and have about 40 courses. You can go here to get real and fictional courses to download. http://www.apcd-courses.com/forum/index.php
