@KHAndAnime:
But it's only 1080 ?
It's 1440P, try reading watching this review, or reading this to see why you might want it.
@KHAndAnime:
Thank you , I like it very much , and one last question , why not buying 4k screen , do you think it good idea ? or this one is enough ? ( I have 980GTX)
( I mean for th future)

Bad idea, you need 2x GTX 980 at least, and probably 2x GTX 980ti a year from now.
If you're looking to spend that much cash then Acer XB270HU and ASUS ROG Swift are the best ones.
You'd need a multiple GPU setup for those monitors though. At least SLI GTX 970's or Crossfire R9 290's.
I didn't find acer monitor in our country (Dubai) , and if I order it from Amazon , I will lost the warranty
But I found ROG Asus pg278q , with 3 years warranty

The Acer is still rolling out, it's a brand new monitor. It'd probably reach your region within a couple months (Europe just recently has gotten stock within last couple weeks), but I can't say for sure. The Asus has slightly faster response time while the Acer has a better picture (colors, contrast, viewing angles). The Acer is the more desirable monitor for its price-point (similar price to Asus PG278Q). If you're feeling impatient, you can get the pg278q, but definitely only do it if you can return/exchange it (relatively high rate of potential defects).
A lot of people have been holding out on the Acer so it might be worth waiting for if you're concerned with getting the most for your money. Or I'd recommend a used PG278Q so you can snag someone else's perfect Swift for a reasonable price (~$600). Not sure what the used market is like in Dubai.
@Alessandro1001: The swift is Amazing.
The build quality is excellent and it's easily the best TN panel out there and rivals some IPS panels. Plus 1ms/G-Sync/144Hz/ULMB

It doesn't better than Acer, it almost costs twice as much becuase of branding.
It's your money, but I'd say get the Asus one because of the warranty, better to pay twice and have warranty for 3 years than saving half and not getting any warranty at all.
@PredatorRules:
The price for Asus is 800 dollars , still expensive, I don't mind to buy it , but why do they sell it with same price from 10 month ( from July 2014) . It supposed to be 600 dollars at max .
Now acer not available until now , Asus monitor released about 10 month and doesn't deserve paying the same price when release it .
I will look for another store for Asus monitor maybe I will find better price or I will hold up little more .

Acer is no market competitor for Asus, that's why they haven't reduced the price yet, they'll wait for BenQ to release their top gaming monitor....

It has 1ms response time It's $200 less than the Acer XB270HU and has freesync. Not a surprise that it costs $200 less because with the Acer there is the extra $200 cost for the G-Sync module, and for the BenQ it doesn't. It's also more future proof as more and more PC makers are going to be using freesync over G-Sync in the future I suspect as it's freesync is open and not proprietary nVidia tech. You will save $200 dollars. As a matter of fact some nVidia Gaming Laptops are actually starting to use Adaptive Sync which is essentially similar to Freesync over G-Sync.
It would be foolish IMO to get the Acer one over the BenQ (not to mention you will save $200).

You have to remember the G-Sync module cost's $200, nVidia charges those monitor makers that's partly why it costs $200 more. Just save the $200 and get the BenQ.
Guys , what about Benq XL2420G ?
I know it's 1080 , and 24 inch , but it's has good features and more than one display port >
so , is it worth it ?
can it play the console on 1080 and 60 fps in ps4 games that ( I mean he games run in 60 fps like metal gear solid phantom pain ) ?

How is G-Sync any better? Show me proof. He will save $200 dollars which he can use to buy another GPU or a boatloads of games. Plus Freesync has been incorporated into VESA standard.

It's demonstrated pretty clearly in this video (it's long and boring, have fun)

Interesting, but how much of it is actually noticeable to the naked eye. You are having to resort to using an oscilloscope to prove any difference whereas FPS for example, can be easily noticed with the naked eye. Also, I expect freesync to get better as more and more models comes out and as more vendors support the lower refresh rate (which was the main criticism in this video).
Bigger question is that if the extra $200 is worth it? Me thinks not especially considering that FreeSync is open and has been incorporated into industry VESA standard. I mean even nVidia's GPUs in laptops are already moving towards adaptive sync.

You have to use an oscilloscope to demonstrate the difference because you can't show the difference over Youtube (fixed refresh rate of 30 and such) - the benefits are certainly visible to the naked eye. It would be pretty hard for them to copy the benefits of G-Sync without copying exactly how NVIDIA is doing it altogether (and they aren't trying to copy how NVIDIA is doing it, so far).
G-Sync isn't going away anytime soon, may as well embrace it (if you embrace our NVIDIA overlords).

The Acer Predator monitor costs 500$ compared to the Asus ROG that costs 750$
250$ is not double but you have to agree it's no change.

Hmm I guess you're right, I've mistaken with the XG270HU, well then it's worthless to get the Acer for the same price, I would go with Asus anyday.
Personally I would go with the XG270HU, I don't care about Gsync or Freesync, I just turn Vsync on and that's it - I'd rather save 250$.
Seriously when you think about that, you could buy another 290 for that price, Vsync doesn't make kill performance, especially when you'll have 2x 290s XD

What do you mean it costs twice as much because of branding? Either way they're the same price and they basically have the same specs. Wouldn't you take IPS panel over TN? They're both very attractive monitors but I'd simply go for Acer.. because it has an IPS panel and richer colors is a win, win! I've never owned anything Acer before my current monitor (which I got one year ago) and it's been very good to me. The colors on my IPS panel are just stunning! It seems like, Acer really got their shit together.There's like a $20 difference which I'm sure won't matter to whoever buys one of these since they're both expensive. So I'm not sure what you mean by saying "it almost costs twice as much".

That's exactly my thought. Why would he get a "freesync" monitor if he has or planning to buy a GTX 980. If he had an R9 290(X) or is planning to get an R9 390(X) or whatever AMD GPU then yeah it'd be a good monitor for him. But before you buy a G-Sync or Freesync monitor just keep in mind that.. you have to stick to a Green team (G-Sync) or stick to a Red team (Freesync) and as cool as that is... I personally would not like to be stranded to one side. I like both Nvidia and Radeon and usually buy a GPU that has great performance while not completely leaving my wallet empty.

I didn't know if he has AMD or Nvidia GPU, I would still go with Asus just because of branding, comparing IPS to TN I would go with IPS anyday, but since the Predator and the ROG are gaming monitors while the Predator got 4ms and the ROG got 1ms, looking for benchmarks it actually shows the opposite, I would be in a pickle situation.
IPS vs TN
4ms vs 1ms (benchmarks shows the opposite)
High quality brand vs lower quality brand.
Indeed I'd have to game on both and test them out for myself before deciding, or watch some more reviews.
@PredatorRules: So let's say... (just an example). You would go with Asus just because it's a better brand..? Even though Acer has a better product and a product you would enjoy more for quiet a few years. You would still go with Asus?
Wouldn't you want to get something that will be more enjoyable to you for years to come..?

If the price is the same yes, I'd probably go with Asus instead of taking risk of monitor failure with smaller company like Acer.
If there was a difference in pricing, I would take the risk and get myself Acer.
Same goes with smartphones or anything really.

I see, usually Microcenter offers pretty good warranties for the price which means if something breaks, you can just bring it back and get a brand new replacement. I got a 3 years warranty on my 4770K for $30 which is a pretty good deal to me.
I wonder if they have these monitors in stock and if they do what kinda warranty plans they have. Because even if they offered 2 years warranty for around $50 it'd be pretty sweet. That's only $25 a year and it's pretty reasonable.
I still don't understand what you meant by "it almost costs twice as much". Can you please explain?

I have no idea, I searched this topic from start till end and still got no clue what the reference costs almost twice means..
Maybe I haven't even checked Acer pricing knowing ROG costs as twice as regular 1440p 27' IPS monitor.
