Hey everyone

Just want to apologise in advance if this is in the wrong forum.

I am looking to get a PC monitor for around £200-£350 (this is GBP not Dollar)

I will start by saying I do not care about energy efficency or any other little bits that are not goign to effect display quality.

Prefferably the screen will be on the large end and if its possible come with good 3D

Also are this will be used for gaming and movies and i am willing to up the budget for a good widescreen monitor with 3D

Suggestions above 350 are ok if they offer significantly better performance for the price difference.

Cheers

Basically you're going to have to pick between a 120hz TN panel or a 60hz IPS panel.

IPS panels offer better image quality, accruacy and better viewing angles.

120hz TN offers faster and smoother motion (for competitive gaming) and 3D if you want that.

120hz IPS panels are very rare and expensive.

Ok, so will it be good enough for gaming with a Sapphire HD7970 and intel i7 (meaning will it be able to display the quality and Frame rate those components are capable of)

It will be limited to 60fps like 99% of the displays out there.
