So you don't own half-life? It's definetly the easiest one to find, since it's on steam. c'mon, what you waiting for? It's a great old-school 10 dollar game.ElArab
for that matter, you can get deus ex on steam as well! might as well get both deus ex and half-life. 2 great games for $20! can't lose here!

yeah but it'll cost you a lot of money. old games not sold retail usually go for over $40.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. Thankfully, now I know which game to buy first. I have like $80 to spend, so I think I can afford it.

The problem is, I've purchased 13 games in the past 2 months. I'm going to wait until the end of the month, because I don't think my parents will let me buy 3 more games all of sudden. :P
Sigh, HL = the most overhyped shooter of all time imho. SS2 is better in almost any way, I'd go as far as say it's the best FPS out there. Second would be DX. But hey, most people seem to love HL, you'll probably enjoy all those titles.

Dunno i played both SS2 and Deus ex and never liked them, it's all down to opinion really.
[QUOTE="DJGOON"][QUOTE="biggest_loser"]Thief - Who agrees with me!!thanatose
I would if it was on the list.
It is it falls under the "Other" catagory. :)
I loved the Thief series but I wouldn't exactly consider them shooters.
I thought of that. Can you honestly regard system shock 2 as one either though?
SS2, Deus Ex and Thief are quite similar in feel. I like Thief the best out of the trio.

oh yes :) I was not paying enough attention. To correct my previous post then Thief > Deus Ex > System Shock 2 > Half life.
And yeah not really a shooter but oh well :)

SS2, Deus Ex and Thief are all hybrids with shooter elements to them. I'd be hard pressed though to choose between Thief and Deus Ex since I loved both games and have played them multiple times.
Deus Ex or System Shock. Though all three can be bought for 30 bucks total most likely, and all are classics. YOu can get Deus Ex off of steam too.
My video card (Intel Extreme Graphics 2) is terrible. It can barely run any good games. It's also un-upgradeable and there are driver errors that are unfixable. It stinksTheRedStrike
buy a GPU for the AGP or PCIE slot then.
