Planescape: Torment, Half-life, Half-life 2, Deus Ex, it's gotta be on this list http://www.gamesradar.com/pc-gamers-top-100-pc-games-of-all-time/, unless it's post 2010. But there is no right answer to your question, it's all a matter of opinion.
PC. I used to game on Mac back in the day, Lemmings and some Trailrunner or Linerunner game. Never liked the feel of the Mac OS.
