Not Wal-Mart that's for sure

If you're talking about backend support, I'd buy from an enthusiast place like OneCall. Make sure whoever it is is an authorized dealer, and remember, extended warranties are often not worth it. Virtually all these sets have a 3 year warranty, and if something is going ot break prematurely, it'll do it in that space

If it's a rear projection then it's almost a must to get a warranty, so many things can go wrong with them and they all have 1 year only warranties. Though, most warranties at local stores will be twice as expensive as online. Sometimes it's a little more if you want the warranty to cover the bulb.

But I bought a 55inch LCD Rear Projection from OneCall.com 2 years ago and it went perfectly smooth. Vanns.com is also a good site.

If anyone mentions TVAuthority.com, DON'T DO IT, they use to be good I heard, but recently they have hit rock bottom in service, failing to dilever but always charges your card and never refunds, and are going into bankruptcy. I mentioned since I've seen people suggest them on this forum.

I think sams club is good but you need membership or someone with membership. Newegg doesn't have a good pixel policy and anything over 24" isn't even covered by their bad policy.

I hear you can take the TV back to Sams club if you aren't happy with it... I don't know if that covers dead pixels... doesn't say. The prices are very good for the LVM-37W3 so I would expect them to be the same for other TVs...

They're still good at 90 days, but no longer can you return something a year later or more like you use to.

I got my Samsung 46 lcd (LN-T4665F) from the internet at www.butterflyphoto.com  I was skeptical at first, but when I saw that other sites like pricegrabber, cnet and amazon certified them, I decided to pull the trigger.  They were very friendly and depending on your tv of choice, there's special deals.  My tv came without a problem.  If you don't mind waiting for shipping, it's a good way to go.  You save so much money.  I got the tv, a protection plan and a surge/power center for the price of just the tv (w/o taxes) at Circuit City and Best Buy.  Just my 82 cents.  Good luck.
