Which ones do you know/recommend?
All of the Forza Horizons, with 3 being my favorite as it has the Hot Wheels DLC where you can play on a gigantic racetrack (now there is that new Hot Wheels Unleashed game but this was a few years ago so this was pretty novel) that has the loop-de-loops and those speed boosts across this map that looks like an amusement park.
Other than that, Dirt 2, 3, 4, and Rally 1 and 2 are very fun if you like rally racing (racing cars on rough terrain like dirt, gravel, mud, etc). Stay away from 5 as that game is a shell of what made Dirt great. Also, Grid 1 and 2 (not 2019) and Grid Autosport are fun but tough racers where you are mainly just racing on the road in racetracks. The Dirt and Grid games are less arcadey and more geared towards simulation, however many of them can still be considered fun racing video games. Only Dirt Rally 1 and 2 are more super serious.
Finally, I would say Burnout Paradise and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (2010) for more arcadey type games. Everything else Need for Speed since 2010 has been hot shit.
My personal recommendations.
No problem. I forgot to mention though, it looks like Dirt 2 and 3 have been delisted from Steam so it might be hard to find a copy of those old games for PC. I personally still think they are fun to play but if you don't care about racing games from 2009 or 2011 then I guess you're not missing too much.
@DEVILinIRON: Cool. Forza Horizon is an easy recomendation. Only 4 and 5 are available anymore, which is unfortunate because 3 had the Hotwheels DLC. Still 4 is fantastic, and 5 has reviewed even better.
Gravel. Not everyone likes this, but I think its great. Graphics aren't the best but it plays well. Feels a lot like Sega Rally.
Dirt 5. Feels more like Motorstorm than Dirt, but I love Motorstorm. People who want realism can play Dirt Rally.
GRIP. Like a 90's sci-fi racer with modern graphics. Takes some getting used to because the vehicles can flip around and grip on any surface, but thrilling once you get the hang of it.
Redout is a similar throwback like GRIP, but with more traditional tracks and physics. No driving on ceilings.
Trackmania series. More loved for it's track editor than the actual racing, but fun enough.
