Hi, this isn't a "vs" thread, so don't flame me. What do you think is Relic's best RTS game? Mine vote goes to Dawn of war. :)

HOmeworld. As far as I am concerned it was the greatest thing to happen to the RTS genre since Dune 2 (aka its creation).
So many RTSs are mp-focused nowadays and while homeworld had great multiplayer, it had one of the most compelling stories of ANY game I ever played.
Homeworld is the most groundbreaking.
Dawn of War is the most fun.
Company of Heroes is the most evolved.
Impossible Creatures is the weirdest.
Every Relic game has something very endearing about it. Relic makes awesome games, period.
My personal preference is Dawn of War, but picking out one outstanding Relic RTS is like picking out one particular gold bullion.
Because it's all gold.

But those panzers can be easily taken out with artillery guns though.

That's wrong. If you know what you're doing all of them are fairly balanced, except for Strafing Runs, damn strafing runs.
[QUOTE="gogators4life"]Something tells me Impossible creatures will get 0 votes. Ken1aI've been thinking of picking up Impossible creatures(all their other games have been so great),what did'nt you like about it?
I doubt he's played it. He was likely referring to the fact that most people don't even know about the game or that Relic made it.
Dawn of war all the way, was impossible creatures even an rts, I thought you just make stuffDrazule
Yeah, it was. You made all your units by combining different creatures' body parts/sections which affect the final unit's combat characteristics to make a bizarre-looking creature that acts as a standard unit (sort of like configuring your own units in Earth 2150 where you pick from the chassis and weapons a unit you're designing is going to have, and all that stuff). You then build those and use them for doing combat with your opponent.

Nice Thread, and a very Hard though
I definitely say the first three ones though Company of Heroes really Kicks A** of all those WW2 previous RTS games. Albeit all RTS can really no match to its Intense gameplay. :twisted:
Kevin Vonguard's fav RTS game of all time is Homeworld.
Kevin V fav RTS games,
* Homeworld 1(His fav RTS of all time)
* Homeworld 2
* Company of heroes
* Impossible creatures(please don't flame him for loving it).
* Sacrifice
* Sins of a solar empire
