Best RTS??

Some of my favorites have been World in Conflict (got it recently and enjoy it alot) Warcraft III (Hero system was a bit funky for me) and the classic Starcraft.

I was an old school C&C guy. The original, Red Alert, C&C Generals are all brilliant. If I want a real challenge however, Starcraft.JetLagz28

For me it's the Blizzard - WarCraft 1,2 & 3 & StaCraft & Broodwar

Westwood C&C's - Dune 2, Emperor Battle for Dune, Tiberium Dawn & Sun,Red Alert 1, 2 & Yuris Revenge, Generals & Zero Hour (The new EALA C&C's are ok but it's not the same without Westwood...:( Hope they don't **** Red Alert 3 up!!!!Or there will be murder)

Relic - Dawn of War, Company of Heroes & Homeworld

I still play most (ok I admit all of them) regularly, I'm actually playing WarCraft 2 campaign now.

Homeworld. In my opinion, the only RTS that can match Homeworld is a game also made by Relic, and released a good 7 years later. That's Company of Heroes.

i would say rome Tw or med Tw2 but dont know if you would strictly count them as RTS they are hybrid 4X/RTS really

Completely agree...starcraft...wasn't very appealing to me...hope SC2 can turn it around (for me anyways).
