Most definitely my choice by far would be Total Annihilation.

Dune 2... pretty much the grandpappy of RTS, and still one of my favs... man I hate those worms :s

Rome Total War is a good game, but Company of Heroes isthe best RTS ever made.

One of my first game ever. Man I loved that game. Going back from now though, I could never play it again. Nothing's more frustrating than being able to command only 1 unit at a time. It made infantry units pretty useless.

Age of Mythology was/is the best PC game ever! :D

Really tough decision between Warcraft and Starcraft.

I do feel like i enjoyed Warcraft more though...

World in Conflict gets my vote.

I think Age of Empires 2 is the best RTS ever, especially online. I liked it much better than Starcraft. Starcraft was too chaotic online, and was basically a who could build troops fastest with hotkeys contest. Age of Empires 2 online was also a fastest hotkeys contest somewhat, but not nearly as bad as Starcraft. Anyways, the whole "who's the fastest at building troops with hotkeys" contest is the reason I don't play RTS games online anymore. They seem to be less about strategy and more about hotkeys.
