I think it is World in Conflict - Soviet Assault. Get right into the action with real life units like the M1 Abrams tank and actually do damage, unlike the weak units in C&C ... - and the nuke actually does a lot of damage too, unlike the other crap RTSs.
Why does everyone forget WC and SC also have top-notch stories and characters :roll:

Sure, but talking about "best" should mean best overall. Not that it would change anything tbh :D
World in Conflict was good. it was simple, and not that deep, but the action always kept you busy. I'd say either Rome TotalWar or Starcraft. I'm trying to play Company of Heroes but it keeps crashing on the fourth mission. What a piece of...:x
Starcraft. However, anything post Brood War I don't really like from Blizzard (which is basically just Warcraft III and its expansion in regards to RTS's). I think Relic is really the top notch RTS developer now, every RTS they have made has been utterly fantastic (starting from Homeworld al the way to the recent Dawn of War II).
world in conflict is defiantly a great game and up there in my top 10 for sure the sp was phenomaly good. and the multiplayer was alot of fun as well. although i believe it wrongly labled as an rts its a rtt(real-time tactics)
Age of mythology is not only the best RTS of all time,it's the best game of all time.I have played starcraft,warcraft,company of heroes. RTS that people say are best.but nothing beats Aom in my opinion.
