Hey guys! I'm looking for a new RTS! To be Honest, I won't by a RTS for it's storyline or something like that, I want massive armies, I wanna pay around 30$ and I want something with A LOT of depth and fun! I've been thinking about Sins of A Solar Empire but I want ur adives! I hears Supreme Commander was pretty decent too but the building process and the gathering process wasn't that fun... Thx!

The "best" RTS is Starcraft.

What you are looking for is massive zerging, I haven't been too much into RTSs lately so I wouldn't know, probably some Total War, also BFME2 had massive armies iirc.

Sins doesn't really involve much strategy. It;s just expand and build a **** of ships, and then your fleet will do all the fighting automatically. No tactics involved, just tank a huge army and always outpay the pirates.

Doesn't exactly have the massive armies the TC is asking, even though it's a very good game in its own rights.

Kids these days. You never heard of Rise of Nations? That one has massive armies and a lot of strategical depth, while also being very accessible. It's like a real time Civilization! The Gold edition is very cheap today.

The RTS games that I have are age of empires and age of mythology.

Age of mythology is a good choice for an RTS game

Do not let the Starcraft fans fool you. The answer is Age of Empires II.

I would say Company of Heroes but you really can't build large armies like some of the games mentioned. The largest possible army that a player can build is about 96 basic infantry units, but that would require him to control all the of the terrioty and basic infantry can't counter every thing

Well that helps guys! I have AoE 3 and I played the 2nd and the 1st. The problem with that game is that it always feel the same in the way that u upgrade ages and thats the only way to get better, no special attacks or something, well... you see what I mean. I played Starcraft too but it's kinda old imo and the 2nd one is coming soon. Company of Heroes seems nice but I heard it has a VERY good campaing but like, you don't build massive armies and stuff. I also heard that there was a Game of the year edition of Sins of Solar Empire and Idk what it includes... and I think it's only 20 bucks. Well tell me what u think about that and if you have any other preferencies, just say them and if it's possible, say what are the goods and the cons about the game u prefere. Thx in advance :P

If you're looking for games with mass scale then Supreme Commander/Forged Alliance, Empire: Total War, Medieval 2 Total War + Kingdoms (Or the Gold Edition) are high on my reccomendations.
