the 4770 DOES beat the 9800GT in almost all cases.
alright i walked down to my local supplier sweet 11 xfx hd 4770s for $110 XD shame though thats the best price they have atm. up here a gtx 260 is $400!
lol....... wasn't the guy talking about a 9600gtshane_orijaha, good catch. This just reinforces the 4770 as being the best card in the $100 price range, seeing as it beats the 9600gt's older brother. And by the way, don't get a GTX 260. It's built on older architecture, had a 55nm (is that right? or 65nm?) proc, and has GDDR3 rather then 5, memory. Not to mention it's ATI.

That's some pretty crappy store you went to. GTX 260 is $200 or less, sometimes much less.WDT-BlackKat
BlackKat he sed "up here" meaning north, which is Canada. The GTX 260 are still in the mid-high 300's im assuming, or have they dropped since I last checked (canadian)
