I have a pair of Turtlebeach PX5, and they're awesome... except my router is 3ft away from where I sit, and the interference is unbearable.

I can turn off my modem for offline gaming sessions, I can't do that for online gaming. So, I need a pair of WIRED headphones.

I was looking at DPX21, but some reviews on Amazon state that they've been breaking within 3-5months, even though they took good care of it, and never dropped.

Read the Headphone FAQ sticky at the top of the forum, and come back with any questions you might have.

Happy gaming,

Astro A40 from astrogaming.com. Price can be a little steep for most but you get what you pay for usually. Comfort, quality, design, customization, product support, sound, price, wireless/wired mixamp... Really, the best gaming headset on the planet for a reasonable price! You will not find much else out there that equally compares.

[QUOTE="GhoX"]Here: http://www.yamasinc.com/stax.htm They may or may not cost more than your whole computer.

If we're talking absolute best, yes, but for someone with a $300 budget, he's pretty much dependent on finding used Stax setups in that price range and hoping that he has a speaker power amp of some sort (A/V receiver, for instance) that can drive the included transformer box (if there is one included to begin with). Then he just has to add a boom mic, probably one of these. http://www.modmic.com/
