What has a better single player, Supreme Commander or Medival 2: Total War? I have Rome Total War and am wondering if the diffrence between Rome and M2 are big enough to pay for the new one. I also have always wanted a modern(ish) warfare game like Sub Com but am wondering of the single player is deep enough and if the AI is smart enough.
i'd say Supcom, its not for everyone, but i found the story to be good and there were some really epic missions in there (the last UEF level really stands out in my mind)
I haven't played Supcom, TW is good but the AI is rediculously retarded, if AI was anywhere near as good as a human then the game could be simply fantastic. In comparison to Rome M2 adds jihads/crusades, importance on religion (kinda like what was in BI xpack for rome), way better graphics, things to do late game like conquer americas etc. My problem with TW is the AI and the fact that once I have secured say 10 provinces you become a superpower and not much is gunna stop you. I'd quite like some kind of superpower mechanic where later game theres one definite super power to match your own, would be interesting.
