Hey i'm having a problem with Battlefield 2 i have been playing it for quite some time and i stopped for a few months now when i tried to join a server yesterday i said my cd-key is invalid it said that for all servers.

now when i tried to reinstall it it wont start up any more i get the start up screen get a black screen and goes back to my desktop

all drivers are up to date you guys got any ideas

before downloading a patch that takes 24 hours i would like to check if my cd-key isn't invalid any more -_-"

Download the patch. It shouldn't take 24 hours. Maybe one hour. (except if you have 56kb/s modem)

 You can also contact EA support if you really feel like you dont want to download it.

try uninstalling it completely, and then going into your system registry and deleting those files for BF2 also. I dont remember exactly how to do it, but its listed on EA's support site, I was having that same problem some time ago and that fixed it.  Good luck!
