BF: BC2 Steam Preload?

Hey, where is the preload for BC2? I thought Steam does this for the majority of their games :(

The Steam version won't be accessible until 10am PST tomorrow. Aaannnd Dice said they're working on some "kinks" in the Steam preload.

Steam doesnt do preloads for all games.

Its not up to them, its up to the other company whos game it is.

Unless its a valve game then dont expect a preload... there are times when some big name non valve games do preload, but its not something that happens with every big release, just a few if the comapny wants to.

Yeah, I'm annoyed as well. Probably won't be able to play the game tomorrow since I'll be downloading. Weird thing is you can preload off EA's site since yesterday, and I think you can preload off D2D as well.

I wanna have it downloaded before I come back from school tommorrow!

You could always try setting the Guinness Record for solving a Sudoku puzzle the fastest.

Ive learned not to question it, and just accept it. I remember that movie...worst in series and, yes, that includes Jason X

Lol I had it pre-loaded on Impulse, and was playing it all morning :P Don't get me wrong, I love Steam, but there's other great options out there.zomglolcats

Try watching it without laughing or smiling..

Get home from work, download started... sigh... and I had to switch my cluster to Finland to get any sort of decent download speeds. I don't like Impulse's client, and I don't like managing cd keys through my email, but I think I'll have to start using them more often anyway... done with Steam. I got burned on my last two preorders.

Pre-loading now on steam. Started off alright but now my speed keeps changing and on average, it's going pretty slow for me.
