Well either is good however if you get bf2142 you are supporting EA shovelware, essentialy all bf2142 does it what a patch would of done to bf2 but they decided to release a new game instead. Just download POE2 for bf2 and instantly the game becomes better than bf2142 and bf2.
The good thing that came from bf:vietnam was the POE mod.The irony is of course that bf:vietnam was better than bf2 is so far as mod support was better.
I enjoyed BF2 more just because it was a great leap from the last BF game, not to mention I like the modern day style. BF2142 is really nothing more than a mod of BF2.
