Yep CS is more skill based.

But don't mistake me, BF2 is a great game, just not CS great ;)

Counterstrike has great mods, I played Day of Defeat for years.

BF2 is good too, butunfocused and less-realistic. BF2 = vehicles CS:S = Infantry only.

css never got repetitive for me, sure you do alot of the same stuff over again, if you play the same map... there's lots of mods for it and it's a lot more objective orientated than bf2zaman48

Don't get me wrong I enjoy playing CS:S, but it takes almost no skill whatsoever. It's not hard at all to become adept at the game, and it seems really rushed. In BF2 on the other hand, you can participate in long, intense battles on the ground while bombers and various other aircraft are soaring overhead (among other things of course.)

Agreed. 1942 was and probably will be one of the best fps of all time. Better graphics be damned. But out of the two, I liked CSS more. An earlier person said "download the bf2 demo and try for yourself". Get your own opinion with that :D

I have both, I have to go for BF2. CS is fun for the first month then it just gets repetitive. You buy the same gun, you take the same path, in the same map. stevendiep_100

I disagree, I don't play on servers where you buy the weapons, I go on the GunGame servers. You start with a pistol and when you get a kill you get the next best weapon and so on. You get practice with every gun and it's so god damn addictive!

Oh my God..

Counter Strike is probably the most skill based FPS out right now. For Christ sake, it's ALL about skill. If you can win on a public server you are proving nothing. BF2 is a great game, but no, just no.
