BF2 shuts down internet?

WheneverI try to play BF2 multiplayer my internet goes down. Im un-installing/re-installing right now, but what could be the problem?

BF2 always corrupted my sound card drivers when I used to play it. That's when I stopped altogether.

There is no PS3 version. Theres a PS2 version if thats what you mean.

Oh I had a similar problem. Look at your resolution and change it. My internet would shut off when I tried to run it at 1600 by 1200 or w/e it was. I put it at 1280 by 1024 and solved my issue.

Sounds like too many packets overload your router and it reboots.

Maybe it Punkbuster related? I would trying updating it with PBsetup

I had a similar problem when I was playing WoW back in the day, all I had to do was update my routers firmware and it never disconnected due to WoW ever again! :D Hope that helps you!
