bf2142 demo wont connect?

i created an account on the EA website and went to log on to play bf2142 demo which i just downloaded but it stays on the 'connecting to EA server' or sumthing like that and then after a while it says connection lost? help

you cant play the demo online or networked...just buy the full version, its totally worth every penny...err...$10 bill   >_

I thought it's a mp demo, or that there atleast is one out there somewhere. Check your firewall settings.
