BF3 Freezing

Has anyone fixed the issue yet? My system is running fine, but I have tried everytging to help this issue on my friend's PC, who's got an i7 920, GTx295, Win7 64bit, 6GB ram system. Game crashes within a minute in both SP and MP. Just freezes. We tried installing a sound card. All drivers updated, latest nvidia driver. Tried old drivers. Triend reinstalling the game, and windows. You name it. Has anyone been able to fix it?

Power supply and temps at load?

Is not a problem of hardware; I have the same problem with a i720 and 6 GB of RAM but with a 5870 and my problem is that the game just freezes at joining to the server...

I have identical rig and thats happened maybe 4 times to me last night then it starting working fine again. Other than that no problems to repart I'm using catalyst 11.9 if you want to try those and see if they work for you.

Me and my friend are having the same issues and CTD a few times every match. There's something wrong with the game that needs fixing, I have never had any issues like this before and the temp are fine, drivers are updated etc. Dice has some fixing to do.
