Try running the game on High settings instead of Ultra (the difference is barely recognizable).

I believe I fixed it by making my 670 only run the game, my 260 was interfering

He has a gtx670 . This isnt an fps issue rather micro stuttering Tc usually this happens with games that load the game world into the memory as you progress (such as fallout new vegas ) . Have you got v-sync on ? IF so try with that option off. Also try other driver version

Did it happen recently? My game runs fine maxed out but just the other day I was getting serious fps drops and what not and find out that a lot of pc players are having the same problems with the game and serious lag right now.

It's a known networking problem, dice is trying to fix it.It's not stuttering but server lag due to punkbuster i think.Only happened to me today.Everything was running smooth until today on an i5 2500k and a gtx 680

I am having the same issues. Started yesterday afternoon. I am running a GTX 680 with a GTX 285 dedicated to phsyx (even though frostbite 2 doesnt use Phsyx to my knowledge.. just for the sake of what I have). A lot of players on the servers I was running on last night were complaining of similar issues as well.

Edit: (Update) It is being talked about at length on the BF forums. It seems to be confirmed that it is a network issue on their end. Some seem to think its a punkbuster issue that is solved with a new update but it didnt work for me or most others who have tried it. The problem is supposed to be addressed during the scheduled maintence. Which is either today or tomorrow I cant remember

It might be the render ahead limit. I was having these irritating stutters too and then I created a user.cfg file with the renderaheadlimit of 1 and now the stutter is gone.

I've had the same issue for a couple of days. So many people have the issue its definitely not a PC problem. Its probably something to do with the servers.

No. It has already been reported that this game stutters more in Ultra settings. DICE even said themselves this game was built to run on high settings. If you compare them, it's not even noticeable. And throw it in motion, and it's near impossible to tell the difference. On top of that, the servers aren't running well.

It's a serverside issue, DICE is apparently "working on it"

It's a server side problem chief, methinks. I had the problem all yesterday.
