BF4 PC online feels so dead -_-

just wth is going on? haven't log onto the game for a week and now there are only 3 servers with popultion 2/3 full and another 3 1/3 full or less. everyone is playing COD or what? I still remember when Bad company 2 and BF3 released, the PC player base were through the roof, highest I've ever seen form any single PC title,

BF4 on PC is extremely well optimized(though graphic is passable) doesn't require a beastly PC and it has loads of maps and modes, every single one are well designed that are tons of fun, better than BF3 in every which way, where are all the PC players? even on ps3 it has like 3000 zillion fulled servers.

There are a ton of servers up for the PC version, check your filter settings.

Theres always hundreds (thousands?) of servers...

You must have your filters set wrong.

You must be filtering the servers incorrectly because I see HUNDREDS of active servers right now and it's 5AM.

Yep, there's hundreds of servers here in Europe too. Check your filters.

double checked my filter, it works fine, so I guess this is not normal? but it's north america region only though.

where is says how many free slots you want in a server set it to only to 1-5 and 6-10 and try again also dices server browser is weird it won't load all the servers at once you have to scroll down to get more then reorder then manually again by player count to get more server choices. This should give you alot of more servers even with just North America. Opening up European and South America servers gives me even more options at the expense of ping. But being on the east coast I'm in a prime location for servers with decent ping even in europe

Its still got a load of issues. I think a few are waiting for the PC update due.... well they rewarded everyone with extra XP.. but didnt provide the fix.. yet

Do what DJHeadshot said, and it'll give you tons of search results with full, active servers.

Server browser is temperamental. You actually get more servers by being more specific. It also only shows a very small number of servers on the first refresh.

For some reason battlelog will not list hardly any servers unless you are being very specific...the more filters you add the more servers will show up,totally moronic I know....this is actually my most hated thing about the new battlefields.

Yup. As it should. There are so many variations of servers active, full, not full, game modes, that one should be specific or else expect underwhelming results.

There are often over 100k people playing "apparently"

95% of which are playing operation lockout and soon to be operation metro. because the so called "superior BF to CoD" and the "PC Master race" like nothing more than to whore points through mindless tunnel kills.

Sort your server browser out, filter by "at least 1 player playing" , watch as your server browser list is dominated by the above patheticness.

Honestly, If I wanted metro/lockout I'd play cod.... it actually does it better.

same thing happens to me sometimes. i filter only 64 player games and only conquest large.... but sometimes i will only get 3 or 4 servers that return. wait 5 minutes... and ill get 15.... wait 5 more minutes... ill get 6....

pretty sure the server browser doesnt work right, along with just about every other aspect of the game. it is pretty broken and DICE isnt doing much to fix the game either.

I have plenty of servers here! It is your filters because I'm in the North American region as well and I'm constantly getting Queued.

I play the game myself. notice the 2 things I've been moaning about on here, on a DISCUSSION BOARD, not a FAP OVER BATTLEFIELD board. it was the contant crashes and poor servers, which is largely gone. the other is 90% of servers are Frigging pointless operation metro/lockout which goes against the general design of battlefield just to satisify the same braindead morons that play maps like Nuketown and Cargo on CoD....

What do you think of china rising? I cant see any levolution or anything in these maps? silk road would of been cool with sandstorms that limit tanks from gimping everyone. but overall... not the best bunch of maps.

I would definitely have to agree with this one. And if I remember correctly, this post was originally about how empty Battlefield was, not how the maps played out.
