BFBC2 360 controller

the support for 360 controller is wonky, does anyone know how to fix that or a patch is gonna come to fix all that

ofc , some1 has to feed the other team and take the last spot on the scoreboard , why not the dude that is playing pc fps game with 360 controller !

you cant post anything about using controllers in PC forums without sarcastic comments....

Sometimes its just fun lay back on your couch kick your feet up and play games on your HD tv while not having to sit at a desk with a KB and M.

Why are so many PC gamers offended by people playing games the way they want? Thats what PC's are all about: options.

No you can enjoy it more with your 1080p 50in plasma with 7.1 surround sound reclining back and not having to sit at a desk. Or maybe some people prefer to do both.

Who cares? You play the way you want and let other people play the way they want. Enjoying gaming isnt a religion or science. People need to grow up.

Problem is aiming in the Xbox 360 version is dumbed down. It always has auto-aim of some kind. so when ypu use a 360 remote on a Pc from my experience it just doesnt work very well.

Your joking. for a start its a fact Pc hardware nowadays is far superior to the xbox360 and Ps3 lol. It can Handle better graphics, higher resolution. The xbox360 is running with 512mb ram and DX9. Those are facts.

There is no 360 controller support. It's just a lazy port.

I hope people don't play that game with a controller.. I wouldn't want to play with those guys.. At least not in their team. Their aim must be at least 200% worse than mouse users.

Shut up about using a controller being bad its down to opinion. I regularly use a Xbox pad (not online )since its more comfortable to sit back on my chair than lean over a mouse and keys. Anyway; you can always disable 360 controller support, and then download Xpadder 5.6, it's brill! You can create your own control schemes, the Xbox pad will simulate your mouse and keys..

I think you misread what he was saying, he said (no if you don't get60 fps, good graphics, good monitor, chair sucks) meaning he doesn't have a great pc videocard, or a good monitor or a comfortable chair, He was talking about his own experience based on what he has at home

Don't mind the hate man. They have nothing else better to do but knock others. Listen, I know where ur coming from. I started playing this game on the PS3, but soon got tired of no AA, **** matchmaking, **** team mates, etc.etc. This game is the reason I got into Pc gaming a year or so ago. So technically, I might still be a noob. :) However, I soon realized that the mouse was superior to the controller for target aquisition, but that the keyboard completely sucked ass for movement and vehicles. Struggled with trying to get the 360 pc controller to work but in the end, I considered it a useless venture. Even if I had gotten it to work, I would've gotten owned. Fast. So, I began to explore my options. At first I looked at gaming keypads...and found them to be crap too. With no other options than to just suck it up and deal with it, I began to look at joysticks. Man, I've never looked back. I am now using the Saitek Cyborg X for movement and vehicles, and the Razer Mamba for doing the dirty work. Most joysticks work with this game right out of the box and mapping isn't anywhere near the chore the 360 controller was. Note: I use this settup for the Battlefield games only. If I'm playing something like Team Fortress 2 or Counter-Strike, then I prefer the standard mouse/kb. There's just something about Battlefield that makes the Joystick a blast. hey everybody don't go picking on us pc gamers that use controllers we just prefer consoles but want portable gaming on laptops

BFBC2 just doesn't play well with a gamepad.

And if your playing fps on pc and your using a gamepad your doing it wrong.

Secondly, I have a wireless kb/m and its sucks trying to do that from the couch. You basically need a breakfast in bed tray sitting in your lap the whole time. A gamepad is just much more convenient, relaxing, and comfortable for that type of gaming.

I play plenty of games from my couch with a gamepad and plenty from my desk with a KB/M. You know what? It doesn't hurt anyone.

Gotta love the idiotic sarcasm... some PC gamers like gaming with a gamepad. Get over it. I don't understand why some people are so closed minded.

But then what do you expect half the stuff doesn't even work in bc2. Hit reg still sucks, voip is still broken, among other things.

It comes down to personal preference, I suppose. I wasn't trying to be rude, just pointing out that there are some setups that allow for using your KBM on a couch.
