BFBC2 not registered to steam?

Well I got the game, runs pretty good :D, but how come it's not registered to steam and there's no shortcut? I went into the files and there was none, perhaps it's the "autorun" program? I have to manually press the eject and then I can start playing.

Its not a steamworks game... If you want the in-game overlay then use "Add a non-steam game to my library"
