OK so when i do a server refresh it only pings some servers (about 6 under 100 ping) but there are thousand more servers with no ping (-) and i have to search threw the list and find something with Australia or .au in the name. any ideas how to get these to ping.

I think a lot of people have had this problem but i've only heard that none of the servers show ping. If you have windows vista then it might be because you're not running it as an administrator.

so first make a shortcut to bfbc2 on your desktop

then exit steam completely

then without opening steam up, right click your bfbc2 icon and run it as an administrator.

Right click on the steam icon, properties and look for the option to run it as an administrator, this will apply it to all your installed games. Run BC2 and you should see all the pings. Well it worked for me.

Plus now that the EA connect issue seems to be resolved/resolving, just use the search fucntion and search for (these are case sensitive!!) GameArena or 3FL (tho I have to use just FL as the search function stupidly inserts a 0 in front of the 3 automagically) ... you now get the whole list of these Aus pretty much instantly.
