BFG 8800 GTS 320MB OC'ed or XFX 8800 GTS 640MB

The BFG 8800 is OC'ed and comes with a shirt, But the XFX has 640MB of Video memory and comes with Lost Planet. Which do you think i should choose?

Unless you're playing on fairly high resolutions, get the BFG. I have the EVGA 8800 GTS 320mb SC and it smokes my friends PNY 8800 GTS 640. Of course, you could always overclock, depending..

from these 2 theres no difference exept in higher resolutions but if you wanna get the 640 version why not wait and save for GTX or 2 320 ones and 9 series will come soon and drop price

Whatever you do do not get the 320 GTS because they are about to discontinue it and replace it with the 8800 GT which will come with 256 and 512 MBs of ram. So getting the 8800 GT 512 is going to be a bit cheaper or the same price as a GTS 320 and it is going to offer better performance. They are redesigning the 8800 GTS 640 due to this and giving it increased memory pipelines I believe. Me ... well I have an eVGA GTS 320 and I will wait for the next 75 days or so (I just got my GTS 10 days ago) and see what comes out and then step up to the best that is available at that time.AnubanUT2

I have the BFG GeForce 8800GTS OC 320MB and there is nothing wrong with it as it is a great card for the $299.99 that I paid for it, but if you can afford to get a 8800GTS 640MB then that would be the the better choice. I would have gotten the a 8800GTS 640MB if at the time I would have been able to afford the over $449.99 that it had cost over a year ago when I bought my 8800GTS OC 320MB.

What are you talking about, the 8800GT is going to be WEAKER than the 8800GTS.

A new edition of the 8800GTS will emerge soon after the launch of the 8800GT, it'll have 112 stream processors rather than 96.

I have always owned BFG cards, and none them had any problems.

Yeah, but look at all the ways they have not to replace your card should something go wrong.

i would say get the one with 640mb becuase it has more memory since the games in the future will probably use 512mb on recommended setting
