Ok, I bought a PS2 along with MGS3 Sub. Problem is when I try to play it the graphics are so blurry I can barely make anything out at all. Now I know PS2's don't have the best graphics but I do know that back in the day when I used to play it all the time I could at least make out all the graphics and tell what they are. I have tried it on every TV in my house and its the same, problem is we don't have any Standard Def. TVs anymore so I cant test it on there, so I have no idea if its because the PS2 doesn't work out well on a HDTV or what. Maybe I could somehow hook it up tomy computer monitor but I doubt it, plus its also a LCD HD monitor so it would probably be the same.

Does anyone know whats going on here?

This. But even it won't help that much. Most PS2 games won't even go 480p - and half of those that do are a **** to get working in 480p. Your PS2 games are going to look relatively bad no matter what.

HDTVs don't scale sub-HD content well.

This is what I did, got a second tv for my bedroom. Just a small tv that wasnt HD so I can play oldschool stuff on it. Old stuff doesnt look all that good on a HD tv, try playing a SNES on your tv, it would look awful.
